Our largest project to date - a 200,000 gallon duck pond!
It has a 10'x73' wetland filter that is packed with aquatic plants, and netted to keep the ducks out. It was quite a challenge but as you see the ducks, geese, swans, and turtles are very happy in their new home!
Adjacent to the bog pond, we added a surprise play area for their sweet Newfiedoodle puppy who LOVES the water. A one foot waterfall with a small pool, feeds the steam. This stream is "dog proof" and is a shallow area built for fun! And, it will double as a splash zone for the grandkids! The best part of this project was working with such amazing people. They are not just our customers, but our forever friends!
The below project was a fun build! Our customers put a lot of love and hard work into their pond in the last 10 years. They were ready to pass the torch, and gave us carte blanche to give them the pond of their dreams. We created a dramatic main waterfall, a side stream, and a bog pond for natural filtration. The main waterfall is the center attraction, with dramatic drops and turns. A side stream appears as a natural run off, and borders a new sitting area. The bog pond provides natural filtration, and is packed with aquatic plants, which combat the growth of algae. Natural skimmers were built into both ends of the pond to provide good circulation, and to keep the water clean so their beautiful koi can be enjoyed. Continued below...
